Lemmy named a CES 2025 Innovation Awards honoree

Lemmy, a companion-care robot for older adults living independently at home, was named a CES 2025 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Smart Home category. The entry was submitted by Shinsung Delta Tech. The robot was developed in a national R&D project (MOTIE/KEIT) by a consortium of Shinsung Delta Tech, UNIST and J Design Works.

I worked on Lemmy as part of the UNIST design team: I co-wrote the scenario book that defines the robot's behavior and led the translation of those scenarios into functional requirements and component specifications. The recognition belongs to the whole consortium; the project page describes my part in more detail.
